The FLSmidth gravity diverter gate provides leakresistantdiversion of bulk materials to either of twodelivery points. It has a center rotating vane assemblymachined for a close fit to the cast housing, and isused primarily where leakage must be minimized.The diverter gate offers high operating efficiencyand long life. Body, end plates, and gate are ruggedcastings, fully ribbed to ensure dimensional stability.The body and diverter gate are machined to closetolerances to prevent leakage and ensure smoothoperation. Bearings are of the non-lubricating type.Lip-type shaft seals provide gas-tight performance.Materials of constructionThis product is available in either Class 50 cast iron,319 aluminum, or 304 stainless steel. Bearings areOilite® bronze, and lip seals are nitrile. Other sealmaterials are available.
